Mine is operated by Mine LLC (“Mine,” “we,” “us”). These Terms govern your use of Mine’s sharing services and website. The iOS app’s software license is addressed below under Apple’s app license.
By using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Using Mine
Mine lets you revisit photos and videos from your Apple Photos library and share selected memories and messages with other people. Your personal photo feed can work without a sharing account. Giving Mine access to your Photos library does not upload your entire library to our servers.
You must be legally permitted to use the services and enter into these Terms. If you are not old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf, where such use is permitted by law.
You must provide accurate account information, use only accounts you are authorized to access, and protect your device and sign-in credentials. Do not share sign-in codes or impersonate another person. Contact us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of your photos, videos, messages, and other content. Sharing through Mine does not transfer ownership to us.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload, send, or otherwise share content, including permission where required from people depicted in it. Respect other people’s privacy, copyright, and other rights.
When you upload or submit content, you grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, copy, transmit, display, and technically process that content only as needed to provide the services you request, maintain their security, handle abuse, and meet legal obligations. Technical processing includes creating thumbnails and preparing formats suitable for delivery and display. We may permit service providers acting on our behalf to perform these tasks for those purposes.
This permission does not authorize us to use your content in advertising or to train AI models. It applies only to content submitted to our services, not to the rest of your Photos library. It ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except for limited retention or processing described in our Privacy Policy or required by law. Copies independently saved by recipients are outside our control.
Sharing, recipients, and public links
Content sent to a conversation is available to its authorized participants and shared memories may appear in recipients’ feeds. Forwarding through Mine depends on the applicable resharing settings.
Anyone who has a public memory-sharing link may be able to view its content and preview information, even without a Mine account. Recipients can pass the link to others. Treat a public sharing link as something that can travel beyond the people you initially send it to.
Disabling resharing does not prevent screenshots, screen recordings, or the distribution of copies or links someone already has. Link expiration does not automatically erase content from existing conversations or our storage.
Opening the sharing sheet for a selected memory may begin preparing and uploading it before you finish sending. More information about this process is available in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use Mine to:
- Share illegal content, child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, nonconsensual intimate imagery, or sexually explicit or pornographic material.
- Threaten, harass, stalk, bully, exploit, or target people with hateful abuse, or encourage violence or self-harm.
- Share graphic violence or cruelty intended to shock or encourage harm.
- Violate someone’s privacy, disclose private information without authorization, or infringe intellectual property rights.
- Send spam, scams, deceptive invitations, or unwanted repeated contact, including attempts to evade another person’s decision to disconnect.
- Impersonate someone, access another account without permission, bypass access controls, distribute malicious software, or interfere with the service.
These rules apply to content and activity submitted through Mine’s sharing services, including messages, memories, profile information, and sharing links. They do not authorize Mine to inspect unrelated content in your personal Photos library.
Unwanted contact and content concerns
You can review your connections from the connections sheet in Messages and choose Disconnect. Disconnect preserves existing conversation history and shared memories, but prevents both people from sending in their direct conversation and in groups they share. Other group members can continue communicating. Reconnecting requires a new invitation and acceptance and restores communication in the existing conversation.
Disconnect does not erase copies already received or prevent a new invitation from being sent.
For unwanted content, abusive behavior, or copyright concerns, contact info@myfeedismine.com or use our contact page. Include enough information to identify the account or content and explain the concern. Do not email illegal imagery or unrelated private content.
We may investigate concerns, restrict access to content, or suspend or terminate accounts to address violations of these Terms, security risks, or legal obligations. Contact us if you believe an action affecting your account was mistaken. These services are not an emergency response channel.
Account deletion and retained conversations
You can request account deletion in the app through Feed → Settings → Delete Account. You must confirm the request and may need to verify your identity again through Apple if you use Sign in with Apple.
Account deletion removes your account, your messages, your uploaded shared media, and references to that media within Mine, including appearances in recipients’ feeds and forwarded messages. Other participants’ own messages and media can remain. Your direct conversations remain visible to the other participant as closed history, with further communication disabled.
Deleting your account does not delete originals from your Apple Photos library or remove screenshots and copies that others independently saved. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete your sharing account or content already uploaded.
Deletion can be interrupted by connection or service problems. Follow the app’s status and retry instructions, or contact support if you need assistance. Our Privacy Policy describes retention, including logs and backups that may have separate retention periods.
Availability and responsibility
Mine depends on your device, network connection, and third-party services. Uploads, messages, and notifications may be delayed or fail. Do not rely on Mine for emergency communications or as the only backup of important photos, videos, or messages. Keep your originals and independent backups.
We may maintain, update, or change the services, and some features may become unavailable. Where reasonably practicable, we will give advance notice of changes that materially reduce access to your account or content, except where immediate action is needed for security, legal, or abuse-related reasons.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory warranties, limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or removes consumer rights or remedies available to you under applicable law.
Apple’s app license
The Mine iOS app is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These Terms govern Mine’s services and do not replace or reduce rights under that software license. Questions about Mine’s services should be directed to us using the contact information below.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the services change. We will publish the revised Terms with an updated effective date and provide additional notice or request agreement where required by law. Material changes will apply prospectively. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you may stop using the services and request account deletion.
